We enjoyed having Ryan join us for the summer. He came to the lab with some zebrafish experience and was ethusastic to apply his skills to PDE. He worked on our project focused on metabolic flux and he focused on istope (or metabolic flux) experiments.

We celebrated the end of summer by watching Kristie’s favorite movie, Jurassic Park, at Red Rocks. As she reminds us daily, the main plot point of Jurassic Park was that the dinosaurs were unable produce their own lysine. This is the original upstream enzyme inhibition therapy for PDE and GA1.
At least we had a great view!
