We are so excited that Kristie won the 2025 Emmanuel Shepaira Award for the paper Feasiblity of newborn screening for pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy. We are excited this paper was recognized as it represents 10 years of work and collaboration among clinicians, scientists, and patients with PDE-ALDH7A1. We are also excited that Kristie was recognized. From the moment she joined the laboratory she was passionate about helping patients. She was crucial for this paper and much of the lab’s missions. Congratulations Kristie!!!!!
