We had an amazing time at the CurePDE family retreat. We had almost 100 people attend in person. We enjoyed catching up with families we have known for years and meeting new families for the first time.

Of course this meeting, CurePDE, and our lab are all here as a result of these amazing kids and adults with PDE. We learned so much from each person we met and each story we heard. We can not thank the patients and families enough for inviting us to the meeting this year.

We also spent some time with Professor Sidney Gospe Jr, wo dedicated his career to PDE. We continue to appreciate our many collaborations. We are honored to call Dr. Gospe a close colleauge and a friend.

One of the best parts of this meeting is the social autmosphere and seeing the “kids” in an unformal setting. This meeting impact our lab so much. It is the motiviation to spend long days looking at mice, zebraish, and mass spect data. What an amzing weekend!

And no - we can not remember who won the arm wrestingly contest….
